Bryd Stays On Top After Storm

Thunderstorms wreaked havoc at Cog Hill on Friday.

After two rounds, Jonathan Byrd co-leads with Aaron Baddeley at 9-under. Watch out, because Tiger Woods is only 1-back at 8-under. Steve Stricker, Camilo Villegas and Justin Rose are all tied with Tiger at 1-back. There was a 3-hour rain delay mid-round that caused some problems for some, but not Aaron or Jonathan apparently.

Today is supposed to be nice weather, so they should be able to get through their rounds without delays.

It’s hard to not pick Tiger all the way here, so I will. The battle for second will be interesting. I like KJ Choi who is at 4-under to run down some of the younguns. Justin Rose might have his breakout here, so he’ll be one to watch.

Aaron is facing his critics for choking on Sundays, we’ll see if he can answer them.
