Choi Outlasts Them All

KJ gets the prize from host, Tiger.

I actually missed most of the final round on Sunday while playing out on my local muni course. The highlights I saw showed KJ Choi making putts, Stuart Appleby falling on his face, and Steve Stricker and Mike Wier hanging tough. Choi finished at 9-under and was 3 clear of Steve Stricker at second.

With the win, KJ aka “The Tank” picks up another win this year and adds to his career total of now six PGA Tour wins. Wier was close at one point, but just couldn’t convert.

Tiger finished at even-par for his round Sunday, tied for sixth at 2-under overall. Not bad considering how badly he played early on.

Anyways, congrats to “The Tank”.
