Mike Weir Driver Swing

With Mike Weir looking like he will lead the Deutsche Bank Championship after two rounds, I thought we should take a look at his swing.
The thing to note about Mike is that he’s only 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds, he’s a pretty small guy so he doesn’t get a lot of power. Instead he lets the club do the work for him. He’s has a pretty compact and quick swing. Mike still has the stutter practice swing which he uses to remind himself to bring the club from the inside. But you’ll notice on his real swing, his swing plane is still a little outside-in which leads to a bit of a slice here.
