The Next Tiger Woods
Mark my words, this kid will be everywhere in a few years from now (maybe even a few weeks). This video segment first appeared on the CBS Evening news.
The kid’s name is Kyle Lograsso, and he’s just 5-years-old, but he plays better than you and I. The most amazing part (and sad at the same time) of the story is that he only has one eye, he had to have his left eye removed due to a condition called Retinal Blastoma (same cancer that Derek Fisher’s daughter has).
Anyways, his parents say he just picked up the game after watching the golf channel and started imitating the TV. The parents don’t really play golf but the kid is now amazing. Perfect swing, great putter to boot.

I will have to let my stepdaughter read this article. She just got into golf about a year ago and will be playing when she enters HS this year. She is also blind in one eye although you can not tell. We found that because of this she is a great shooter (my husband can’t get her to hunt but she loves to go to the shooting range). We believe it is because she doesn’t have the distraction of vision in the other eye. This article may give her encouragement that it will be a sport she can be good at. Team sports aren’t easy due to the lack of preferral vision.
