The blond bombshell looking to clean up this week

The PGA Tour season is unofficially over with the conclusion of the Fedex Cup. So why the heck are they still playing?? It’s called a cash grab folks. Anyways, the site of this week’s Turning Stone Resort Championship is the Atunyote Golf Club in Verona, NY. Only 2 of the top 30 players bothered to show up, still there are some good names on the board.

Now since Yahoo!Fantasy has completed it’s 2007 season, we’ll simply pick the best foursome and give you some sleepers for the week. Jump on the link to see the picks.

Favorites

Two aussies, Stuart Appleby and Robert Allenby. I like Stuart more to win, as he’s a bit more aggressive and I can see him having a great round or two. Robert has been consistent all year so he’ll make the cut but I doubt he’ll win it.

A couple of players that have a good shot include Ryan Moore and Carl Petterson. Both have had decent seasons, I really like Ryan Moore’s game and with the reduced talent this week, I think it could here. Carl can play and made it through all of the Fedex Cup events so he’ll make the weekend for sure.

Sleepers

John Daly, though he probably won’t win, is always a crowd favorite and with his performance at the British Open in the first round, proved that he can still play.

The youngsters Sean O’Hair and Kevin Na are two terrific talents. Sean trailed off towards the end of the season but he is capable of playing at a high level as witnessed at the Player’s Championship. Kevin Na has a wonderful swing and like many young guys, is just looking for his breakout win.

Not sold on

Henrik Stenson is probably the most overrated player heading into this week. He has a nice world ranking at 14th, but he hasn’t won all season and most of his stats were gained from the first part of the year.

John Rollins is also overrated here. He has played pretty well all year, but I just don’t see a win. He hasn’t won all year and why would it start here?

TV coverage will be exclusively on the Golf Channel so if you don’t get, too bad.
